Weddings and Events Overview

The DEPOT HOTEL RESTAURANT and GARDEN in Sonoma is the perfect setting for weddings, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. Located on a quiet street one block off the historic Sonoma Plaza, the DEPOT HOTEL RESTAURANT is a beautifully restored plum-stone building, one of the landmarks of the lovely "Valley of the Moon" in California's wine country. We are just one hour north of San Francisco.

Our sunny light-filled Restaurant features charming "country-inn" style decor in shades of gold and cream. Inside the charming stone building is seating for 100 guests. The dining rooms are decorated with Italian china and Venetian tapestries. The entire back wall of the restaurant is glass--opening onto a beautiful Italian garden. This romantic garden is decorated with topiaries and shady flower-filled terraces surrounding a central reflection pool and sparkling fountain. At the end of the garden is an outdoor fireplace and pergola surrounded by Tuscan-style stucco walls.

The maximum number of guests for wedding receptions and banquets, indoors and outside included, is 175. We also do weddings and rehearsal dinners for groups as small as 10. Let us know the size of your party and we will reserve a private room, or a terrace, or you may enjoy the entire Restaurant and Garden.

This special day, surrounded by family and friends who have come to celebrate with you, is one filled with many happy memories for years to come.

Our goal is to make the planning process, and the wedding day itself, simple and joyful for the bride and groom. Our in-house Event Manager takes great pride in planning unique, personalized weddings—that truly reflect the desires and wishes of the bride and groom.
